Nike SB P Rod 2
Nike SB P Rod 2
The Nike P Rod line, first released in ’05, has become one of the most popular skate shoes on the market. The P Rod 2’s were released last year and thankfully they only made minor changes to improve the original’s skatability and wear. The P Rod 2 is more than just a nice skate shoe, though. It is one of the more aesthetically impressive models Nike has to offer, and collaborations with Hiroshi Fujiwara, Tinker Hatfield, Stash and Futura let you know the shoe is here to stay. X-Games Event: Skateboard Street
P-Rod makes it all look so damn easy. A pro since 16, P-Rod shreds everything you put in front of him, which is why he was the first pro skater to be signed by Nike in 2004. And with a cool 100 g’s in his pocket from his recent victory at the Maloof Money Cup, the street king had momentum on his side as well as two X Games gold’s (’04, ’05). But in this year’s competition, he came in a close second to Ryan Sheckler in the Street event. Skater Video | Skater Web Site
