X-Games Event: Skateboard Street

Since Dr. Z’s hometown of Cape Cod, MA is not the ideal environment for a street skater, the Zoo York/DVS rider packed his shit and moved to New York’s Lower East Side. He started doing films such as City of Killers and Vicious Killers, honing his skills and gaining recognition for his ability to skate regular or goofy equally nice. Named 2005 Transworld Skateboarding Rookie of the Year, Bassett is looking to step outside the media world of skate videos and make a name for himself in the competitive realm.
